Tom Tilley is Managing Partner for The DVS Group, a national, independent intermediary firm that specializes in assisting executives acquire companies. In 2008, The DVS Group was named one of the "Top 25 Businesses Under 25 Employees" by KC Small Business Monthly.
Tom Tilley has been directly involved in more than 70 transactions across the country. Throughout his tenure with The DVS Group, Tom's extensive experience spans an array of industries including service businesses, distribution, manufacturing, consumer products, financial services, healthcare and information technology. Tom is a frequent speaker at national offices for Right Management Consultants, Lee Hecht Harrison, Enterprise Bank & Trust (as part of the Enterprise University program) and other regional business advisory institutions.
Changes to the economic environment in recent years have deeply affected the lower middle market and merger & acquisition industry however Tom excels at designing creative transaction and financial structures to overcome the financing challenges in the current marketplace in order to close transactions. Tom's knowledge of the current financial marketplace, his transaction experience and his entrepreneurial background as a prior business owner of a start-up company, allows Tom to assist a variety of clients through the difficult process of closing a transaction. Tom's experience encompasses various aspects of business transactional work and representation such as:

Tom attended Michigan State University on a hockey scholarship and he played on the 1986 NCAA Division I Hockey Championship team. After graduation, Tom played for the St. Louis Blues, Chicago Blackhawks and Tampa Bay Lightning Teams. Tom remains involved in hockey as the Hockey Director for the Kansas City Stars, Kansas City's largest youth hockey league.
