Tom Tilley has more than six years of merger and acquisition experience and has been directly involved in more than sixty transactions across the country. Throughout his tenure with The DVS Group, Tom’s experience spans an array of industries, including: service businesses, distribution, manufacturing, consumer products, financial services, healthcare, and information technology. Tom is the co-host of The DVS Group's radio show on 1510 AM KCTE, The Entrepreneur Machine, and he is also a frequent speaker at national offices for Right Management Consultants, Lee Hecht Harrison and other regional business advisory institutions.
Tom excels at designing creative transaction and financial structures, overcoming the financing challenges inherent in the current marketplace, to close transactions. Tom’s knowledge of the current financial environment, his transaction experience, and his entrepreneurial background as a prior business owner of a start-up company, allows Tom to assist a variety of clients through the difficult process of closing a transaction. Tom’s experience encompasses various aspects of business transactional work and representation, including:

Tom attended Michigan State University on a hockey scholarship and played on the 1986 NCAA Division 1 Hockey Championship team. After graduation, Tom played in the National Hockey League for the St. Louis Blues, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. He remains involved in hockey as the Hockey Director of the Kansas City Stars, a Kansas City based youth hockey league.
