Kevin Lindsey is Founder and Managing Partner for The DVS Group, a national, independent intermediary firm that specializes in assisting executives & investors acquire private companies. In 2008, The DVS Group was named one of the "Top 25 Businesses Under 25 Employees" by KC Small Business Monthly.
Kevin is an Entrepreneurship and Business Acquisition subject matter expert providing educational services to organizations nationally such as Right Management, Execunet, Lee Hecht Harrison and The Kauffman Foundation. He regularly appears as a guest on various radio shows, most recently Planning for Prosperity, and hosts Inside Private Equity and The Entrepreneur Machine. Kevin also routinely teaches for professional associations such as the International Business Brokers Association, Business Enterprise Institute and the Kansas CPA Society.
Kevin is a classic serial entrepreneur who invented, and holds the patent on, the Firefly Safety Lighter - a device that safely ignites fireworks without using flames or fuel. As an inventor, Kevin has experience in development, overseas manufacturing, raising private capital, licensing and marketing.
A University of Missouri graduate with a degree in Food Science, Kevin has worked at RJ Reynolds, M&M Mars as a food scientist and as a private wealth advisor at Merrill Lynch, AXA Advisors, BMA and Berthel Fisher.
Kevin's expertise is in guiding complicated transactions for The DVS Group. He deals with the former C-suite level executive buyers guiding their acquisition processes as well as dealing with transactions involving private equity.
